INVITATIONS ARE IN THE MAIL! You should be receiving them soon!

When we printed them, we said to RSVP by April 5^th, but obviously since they're out so late you can just reply whenever. I'm really excited! I even made a wedding email, starandstephenswedding@hotmail.com, if you have wedding questions and such.

Well, Jetsgo's out of business. My parents, Sunny and Scott, and Steph are all currently battling to get refunds for their tickets. One penny to fly out of Toronto? I suppose we should have seen it coming. Anyway, the Jetsgo link has been removed, considering all it leads to now is a note (not even an apologetic one, in my eyes... "sorry for inconvenience" my ass!) about how they have ceased operations. It's like Canada 3000 all over again, except the service was ALWAYS awful!

Bah! Too many people are freaking out about this wedding! It's supposed to be SIMPLE dammit!

So, it turns out that Caroline (Star's grandmother, A.K.A.: Granny) is totally stressed out by this wedding, and is calling Sunny at 7:30 in the morning on Sundays because she's worried about things. It seems that what happens is that she calls us and gets really excited about all these ideas she has for the wedding, and how to impliment them; 45 minutes later, she eralizes how much extra work it's going to be and freaks out and calls Sunny. She's trying to have too much going on at her house at once and can't cope with the repercussions of taking on to much. She's planning on renting chairs, hiring an entertainer, and who knows what else. We didn't ask for this! Plus, we don't need it!

So, change of plans. We will not be camping on Granny's property. She says she's fine with it, but I know that once 25+ people are staying on her lawn for a week, she's going to start feeling a want for personal space. Instead we can camp at Elora Gorge and it will be very cheap and conveniently located. Sorry about this. I just know that Granny says she wants everyone there now, but when it comes down to it, she's going to get really cranky having so many people in her hair.

I've put my mother in charge of the Sunday brunch so that Granny will have less to do. So now she's making it way too complicated, and planning on baking six different things, worried about who's going to help her, and thinks it has to be a big production. I actually said to her: "Bake one thing, put out some yogurt and fruit, and we'll be fine." But she won't listen to me.

People shouldn't be stressed out about my wedding! If anyone can be stressed, it's us! Don't get al worked up about unimportant shit, then call me because you're worried about it! If you're worried about the wedding then you're doing too much!

Oh yeah, invitations are in my hands now! Well, not literally because I'm typing, but they're in very close proximity! As soon as they're addressed, we'll be sending them out!
